I conducted a phone interview earlier this evening with jazz pianist Robert Turner, who is returning to Los Angeles after three years of living and playing in Shanghai, China. He is a talented jazz pianist that has played with many celebrity musicians including Natalie Cole, Mark Russo, The Temptations, and Stevie Wonder.
Robert spoke about growing up with gospel music and listening to Gene Harris, playing jazz in L.A., experiences in Shanghai, the Chinese documentary film in which he was just featured, upcoming projects, and more!
