Official Music Video for "Dear Freddie" by Austin Kimble

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Jazz pianist Austin Kimble was on KXAN News Today to talk about his viral video and his [successful] Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for his new album.

     Kimble, who graduated from the University of Texas, plays both with a trio and his wife Kelsey.  His video, circulated during SXSW, drew well over 1 million views.  In it, Kimble and piano are seen all over Austin, playing at various iconic locations such as the Long Center for the Performing Arts, a cow pasture, the Lady Bird jogging trail and Pete's Dueling Piano Bar down on Sixth Street.  The music is a tribute to the late Freddie Hubbard.
